What "free" usually means online
Most free UK property tools are free in exchange for your email address. The flow is familiar: enter your postcode, click "see my valuation", get redirected to a form, hand over name, email and phone, get an automated email saying "a local agent will be in touch with your free valuation". Within a week you're getting agent calls, marketing emails, and your details are likely shared with the local-agent network.
Offrly does none of that.
What "free" means on Offrly
- No account. No mandatory signup form, no password reset, no profile.
- No email. No "enter your email to see your result". No newsletter. No follow-up sequence.
- No phone number. Nothing to share with a local agent.
- No credit card. Not at the start, not at the end. There is no upsell.
- No agent referrals. Offrly does not have a partnership, commission or affiliate relationship with any UK estate agent.
- No "a member of our team will be in touch". Nobody will be in touch. The result is the result.
What Offrly does store, honestly
- Sale valuations are logged with: postcode, predicted price, property type, tenure, beds/baths, garden and condition labels, timestamp. If you supplied a public listing URL we also store that URL and the address it points to. This log feeds the public accuracy report — at the end of each calendar quarter every BUY record is frozen to an immutable snapshot, then auto-joined to HM Land Registry sales six months later on the same full postcode. No human in the loop.

- Standard web-server logs (IP, user-agent, path, timestamp) for ~30 days for security and capacity.

Why this matters
Most free UK valuation tools trade access for your email address: enter your postcode, hand over name, email and phone, get an automated reply, then a chain of agent calls. The figure you receive is tuned to bring you in for a viewing.
A free, anonymous tool with a published accuracy report is a different thing. Offrly is currently a non-profit project — free to use today, with the limits and disclosures above. If a sustainability path is added later we'll be upfront about it on this page and at /privacy.

What's the catch?
Offrly is currently a non-profit project. There is no upsell, no premium tier, and no agent referral commission today. The site is free to use and the running cost per query is small.
How does Offrly make money?
Offrly does not generate revenue today. We're not promising a permanent free tier — if that changes (sponsorship, an opt-in partner referral, a B2B API), we'll disclose it on this page and at /privacy. We won't retroactively paywall features you already have.
Is anything stored?
Search and rental-valuation queries run in memory only and are discarded when the job finishes (or within 30 minutes if you leave without finishing).
